A veneer raised panel resembles the look of a solid raised panel door. We use an MDF core with matching veneer to the solid wood rail and stile. High pressure bladder press is used to ensure good stable gluing of the veneer to the center panel. The frame is joined by a miter joint at the corners. A miter joint is a 45° cut on both the stile and the rail. This joint runs diagonally from the inside corner of the frame to the outside corner. This has an advantage of a lower priced door, better color consistency, and an increased stability.
